Obama's New Job Initiative? "You Got to Move It, Move It!: Feds Raid Gibson Guitars in Tennessee and Tell Owners: 'Get Out of America, Move to Madagascar We Don't Want Industry Here!'

As a prelude to Obama's Newest Job Initiative Speech before Congress,  Federal agents dressed in full SWAT Team regalia raided two Gibson guitar factories in Tennessee under the pretext that the 100 year old American Company has been "working" wood materials legally purchased from India that U.S. Officials have deemed to be allegedly breaking international laws. The law that Gibson allegedly broke was having their highly skilled American craftsmen handcraft Indian Ebony and Rosewood for their guitar fingerboards that wasn't "finished", or "value added" by workers in India, as the process was being completed in Gibson's manufacturing plants in Memphis, and Nashville Tennessee.

Gibson's Legendary Les Paul guitars  have long been the beloved instrument of choice for thousands of musicians worldwide, and Gibson has been a success story by adding dozens of new jobs to their American workforce that now totals well over 500 employees whose jobs may well be in jeapardy especially since the Fed's have informed the Owners of Gibson that they should leave the United States and even suggested that they would be better off if they moved their entire manufacturing system to Madagascar.

Gibson's Real Crime: Having a Republican CEO?

Last Weeks Federal Raid was the second time that Gibson has suffered significant financial loss due to Imperial entanglements during the reign of Emperor Obama. No formal charges were filed following the previous raid, and no valid explanation of why they alone were raided was given to Gibson's management seeing that their major competitors also use Indian Rosewood, and Ebony in their guitars as well.

Gibson has long been an American success story, and their highly skilled employees truly enjoy working with the legendary guitar manufacturer. Gibson's CEO Henry Juszkiewicz has demonstrated that he wants to comply with all international as well as domestic laws concerning the acquisition of the woods that have long been proven to produce the best acoustic quality that their musical customers demand. Juszkiweicz has also stated that he would really appreciate it if the Federal Officials would simply clarify whatever their real concerns with Gibson's manufacturing process are, rather than having his employees being terrified by armed Federal Agents busting into Gibsons factories, and Corporate Office.

 Seeing that Juszkiewicz maintains that the actual wood in question has legally been purchased with the approval of the Indian government, could it really be that Gibson is being targeted, and harrassed for the crime of their CEO being a well known Republican Party supporter?

One of Gibson’s primary competitors is C.F. Martin & Company whose C.E.O., Chris Martin IV, is a long-time Democratic supporter, who has given $35,400 in contributions to Democratic candidates and the DNC over the past couple of election cycles. According to C.F. Martin’s catalog, several of their guitars are composed using fingerboards that contain “East Indian Rosewood.” The exact same wood in at least ten Gibson guitar models.


You Got To Move It, Move It!  Gibson's  Henry Juszkiewicz confirms that the FEDS informed him in a Court Brief that Gibson would be better off moving their guitar manufacturing operations to Madagascar!!!



Surely nearly all of Gibson's entire workforce will be glued to the Teleprompter Reader next Thursday evening as President Obama UN-veils his newest job initiative to create "New Jobs" in America. As for Gibson's employees perhaps their "new job" will be to work at McDonald's, Wal-Mart or for the ever expanding Corrections Corporation of America (formerly known as Wackenhut) as the exploitation of Prison Labor has now become the most cost effective manner in which Multinational Corporations can legally sew the coveted:

label onto the products being made from the sweat of the American Prisoners, as Prison Labor is one of the few remaining growth industries in the Deindustrialized U.N.-Tied States of America!
