An Excerpt from the upcoming Novel: October 7th: A Tale of Two White Toyota Vehicles

   

The pre-dawn air rushing through the cracked windows of the white Toyota Yaris carried the sharp scent of damp earth and desert dust. Crammed into the compact car, Miryam, Avigail, Libby, and Tamar sang over the thumping bass vibrating from the dashboard speakers, leaving behind the sterile corridors and fluorescent glare of Sourasky Medical Center. For the four Sackler nursing students, the drive south toward the Re’im forest was an escape—a rare weekend carved out of relentless clinical rotations to dance under the open skies during the final hours of Sukkot. Ahead of them lay the Supernova gathering, an open-air trance festival that had received its permits and finalized its last-minute relocation to the rural fields near the Gaza border only days before, drawing thousands to celebrate under the banner of the Tribe of Nova as the holiday transitioned into Shemini Atzeret and Simchat Torah.

A dozen kilometers away, beneath the same fading stars, a different reality unfolded in the narrow, shadowed streets of Khan Yunis. Yusef sat in the bed of an aged white Toyota Hilux alongside Ahmed, Ibrahim, and Muhammad, their hands gripping cold steel. In Gaza, life had long been defined by the persistent hum of overhead drones, the invisible grid of 24/7 aerial surveillance, and the multi-layered perimeter that sealed the Strip from the world beyond. Driven by deep-seated grievances, the enduring trauma of blockade, and years of militant indoctrination, the four operated under the conviction of an all-out assault against the system that confined them. In the dim light of dawn, explosive breaching charges, wire-cutters, and bulldozers shattered the multi-million-dollar barrier of concrete, subterranean sensors, and heavy steel fencing in minutes, opening jagged corridors through which armed teams surged into the borderlands.

The boundary between celebration and disaster dissolved just as the sun broke the horizon. At Re’im, the music was abruptly cut; sound engineers took to the stage microphones shouting instructions over the rising wail of rocket-warning sirens: “Tzeva Adom—hit the ground, cover your heads!” Dancers, initially assuming it was a standard rocket volley, lay flat in the dirt. But within minutes, the crackle of automatic gunfire drew near as armed squads arrived from the tree lines. Miryam and Avigail bolted on foot through the scrub, running blindly through the escalating chaos and smoke, while Libby and Tamar were overtaken near the perimeter and forced into the back of Yusef’s pickup as it turned back toward the border.

The Hilux sped west across the open agricultural fields, dust billowing behind its wheels, carrying the four fighters and their captives. Overhead, the low, mechanical thrum of the Israeli Air Force signaled the arrival of Boeing AH-64 Apache gunships dispatched into airspace thick with smoke, broken communications, and confusion. Operating under emergent combat directives to prevent cross-border abductions at all costs, the aircraft engaged vehicles racing toward the perimeter. Within seconds, a volley of 30 mm autocannon fire tore across the open ground, striking the speeding truck and ending the lives of everyone inside in an instant of devastating kinetic force...

In the Book of Genesis, a clear distinction is made between a general blessing of national expansion and material prosperity versus the spiritual covenant and the specific land inheritance:

  • The Exclusive Covenant with Isaac: When Abraham pleads with God on behalf of Ishmael ("Oh that Ishmael might live before thee!"), God explicitly answers:

    "Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him." (Genesis 17:19)

  • The Status of the Other Sons: Abraham fathered additional sons through Keturah (Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, and Shuah), as well as Ishmael through Hagar. However, the text explicitly documents how the inheritance was distributed:

    "And Abraham gave all that he had unto Isaac. But unto the sons of the concubines, which Abraham had, Abraham gave gifts, and sent them away from Isaac his son, while he yet lived, eastward, unto the east country." (Genesis 25:5–6)

  • Continuation Through Jacob: The covenantal promise of the land is subsequently passed from Isaac to Jacob rather than Esau (Genesis 28:3–4), restricting the lineage of the biblical land covenant exclusively to the Twelve Tribes of Israel.

 "Greater Israel" and the Land Claims vs. Abraham's Other Sons

In both biblical study and modern political dialogue, several distinct concepts often get conflated:

  • The Covenant of the Pieces (Genesis 15:18): The verse states: "Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates." From the perspective of Jewish tradition and biblical theology, the phrase "thy seed" is explicitly defined later by God as applying solely to the lineage passing through Isaac and Jacob ("For in Isaac shall thy seed be called," Genesis 21:12).

  • The "Greater Israel" Concept:

    • In modern political discourse, this term is primarily geopolitical or critical. Mainstream Israeli national and religious movements historically centered their claims on Mandatory/historic Palestine (between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea, with early Revisionist Zionism historically eyeing Transjordan).

    • There is no mainstream, official policy or operational plan seeking territorial sovereignty from the Nile to the Euphrates; within mainstream rabbinic theology, these maximalist river-to-river borders are viewed as idealized, eschatological boundaries belonging to the Messianic era rather than a modern practical blueprint.

But what about The Promise to Ishmael and His 12 Princes where's his promise of a "Great Nation" going to be when Messiah Yeshua Returns to Rule ALL NATIONS WITH A "ROD OF IRON" ?

The Torah does not overlook Ishmael; it records an explicit divine promise granting him power, fruitful lineage, and national sovereignty—separate from the specific territory of Canaan:

  • The Promise of a Great Nation:

    "And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation." (Genesis 17:20)

  • The Twelve Sons of Ishmael: Nebaioth, Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam, Mishma, Dumah, Massa, Hadad, Tema, Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah (Genesis 25:13–15).

 Where Is the Land of the 12 Tribes of Ishmael (Ancient & Modern)?

The biblical narrative explicitly outlines the geographical territory where the Ishmaelites settled:

"And they dwelt from Havilah unto Shur, that is before Egypt, as thou goest toward Assyria: and he died in the presence of all his brethren." (Genesis 25:18)

  • In the Ancient World:

    • Havilah unto Shur: This describes the broad arid expanse stretching from the eastern borders of Egypt and the Sinai Peninsula, across the northern and central Arabian Peninsula, up toward the Syrian Desert bordering Mesopotamia (Assyria/Babylon).

    • Prominent tribes like Kedar and Nebaioth are documented extensively in Neo-Assyrian inscriptions and later Hellenistic records as major nomadic and merchant confederations controlling vital desert trade routes. Oasis settlements bearing their names, such as Tema (Tayma) and Dumah (Dumat al-Jandal), are well-established archaeological sites located in northern Saudi Arabia.

  • In Modern Nations:

    The territory biblically allotted to and inhabited by Ishmael’s descendants corresponds primarily to:

    • Saudi Arabia (and the Arabian Peninsula broadly)

    • Jordan

    • Eastern Sinai (Egypt)

    • The Syrian Desert and the arid reaches of Western Iraq and the Gulf States

Across Arab and Islamic tradition, Ishmael (Isma'il) is honored as a foundational patriarch of the Arab peoples (specifically the Arab al-Musta'ribah, or "Arabized Arabs"), seeing the fulfillment of God’s promise to make him a "great nation" in the vast historical expansion of the Arab and Islamic world.

 
The 'Official Story' Of October 7th: 

 At 6:29 am on October 7, 2023 Hamas-led militants launched a massive, coordinated cross-border assault from Gaza into southern Israel. Over 1,200 people—mostly civilians—perished on that day which also "shall live in infamy" 251 additional people were taken as hostages into the Gaza , a land and culture that was totally different from their homelands. The captives encompassed a wide cross-section of society, including Israeli infants, elderly civilians, IDF soldiers, along with dozens of foreign, and dual nationals from countries such as Thailand, Nepal, the United States, France, and Argentina. 

Over the course of the conflict and subsequent hostage-release frameworks, operations, and investigations, authorities confirmed that at least 80 to 85 of the abducted hostages died either during the initial attack before being taken or while held captive in Gaza. 

A total of 168 hostages taken on October 7, 2023, survived their captivity and were brought home alive:

  • 160 hostages were freed alive through negotiated agreements and diplomatic exchanges (including the November 2023 truce, subsequent release phases throughout 2024–2025, and the final exchange in October 2025).

  • 8 hostages were rescued alive directly by Israeli military and security operations inside Gaza. Each of these survivors have, and will continue to share from their own first hand accounts, of how they made the best of their time spent in captivity inside Gaza. Yet in the process of time since that fateful Oct. 7th now three years ago, for a number of firsthand accounts by current, and former Israeli military troops have raised far more questions, than answers about what really happened, before, during and after Oct. 7th 2023 

Several of these 168 survivors of the horrific acts that have taken place before, during, and after Oct. 7th have shared from their unique first hand account perspectives with our world, of how they made the best of their time spent in captivity in Gaza, a tiny enclave with a language, culture, and religion that are quite different from their Israeli Jewish or individual Christian, or of other religion homelands. 

Yet in the process of time in the past three years, a number of first hand accounts of the actual horrors that took place before, during, and after Oct. 7th by current and former Israeli IDF, and IAF Troops have exposed shocking new evidence that both sides: Israel, and Hamas are responsible for the carnage, and vast destruction of Gaza during and after October 7th 2023, a date that shall also "Live in Infamy!"

The Gaza Strip emerged as an administrative territory during the 1948 Arab–Israeli War, when over 200,000 displaced Palestinians were forced into the narrow enclave, tripling its population. Placed under Egyptian military rule from 1948 until the 1967 Six-Day War, residents remained stateless and strictly confined. In 1967, Israel captured and occupied the territory, establishing military rule and civilian settlements that controlled Gaza’s coastlines, main roadways, and arable land for nearly four decades.

In 2005, Israel dismantled its settlements and withdrew its troops under the Unilateral Disengagement Plan, but it retained overarching authority under international law by controlling Gaza’s airspace, maritime borders, population registry, and most land crossings. Following Hamas’s 2006 election victory and 2007 takeover, Israel and Egypt instituted an indefinite land, air, and sea blockade. This comprehensive closure severely restricted civilian travel, throttled economic trade and dual-use goods, and led human rights organizations to characterize the enclave as an "open-air prison."

Control over Gaza was further consolidated through high-tech surveillance and physical containment, culminating in the 2021 completion of the 65-kilometer "Smart Barrier." This multi-layered perimeter combined an underground concrete anti-tunnel wall, a six-meter-high steel fence, and automated remote-controlled gun turrets. Constant monitoring by intelligence drones, aerostat blimps, and signals intelligence created a digital cage around the population that remained tightly enforced until militants breached it on October 7, 2023.

How Faithful Servants of Messiah Yeshua can Overcome even hostility from their captors, and make the best of even becoming imprisioned, or taken into captivity: 

Jacob's favorite son Joseph became envied by his brothers, who stripped him of his 'Coat of Many Colors' and cast him into an empty pit, before selling him for 20 Pieces of Silver to Ishmaelite Traders on a Caravan towards Egypt.   Genesis 37

The four young Princes of Judah; Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah were called before King Nebuchadnezzer who instructed them to break the Commandments of the Holy One of Israel, and partake of the Kings Scripturally unclean meats, and his finest wine in preperation for their becoming future Advisors to the King of Babylon. 

Daniel as always rose to the occasion, and convinced Melzar to "Test his Servants for Ten Days" of allowing the four young Princes to eat only lentils, while drinking only pure water. Afterwards their countenences shined with the radience of the Stars of Heaven, and their wisdom shined forth for all to see.  

In the Holy Scriptures we read of Two men born of the House of Jacob, centuries apart into prominent families of ancient Israel,
 who were both taken captive in their teenage years; and led off to live their adult lives in two of the most powerful kingdoms in ancient times. Both Joseph and Daniel were given the Spiritual Gifts of having the wisdom to precisely interpret the dreams of other other people, and the wisdom and discernment to become trusted advisors to Pharoah's and King's in ancient Egypt, Babylon, and Media Persia (Modern day Iran) 

Centuries before the Roman legions marched on Judea or modern technology reshaped the globe, Daniel an exiled prince of Judah sat by the waters of Mesopotamia. Taken captive as a youth during King Nebuchadnezzar’s siege of Jerusalem—watching Solomon’s temple plundered of its holy vessels, and razed to the ground—Daniel Ha Nabiy (Da Prophet Daniel) remained faithful to the Holy God of Yisrael through the rise and fall of empires at the advisory service to Kings in ancient Babylon, as well as in Media-Persia, well until his ninth decade of life.
 
The Biblical prophet Daniel was born approximately 2,645 to 2,650 years ago (around 623–620 BCE). Because he was taken to Babylon as a youth or teenager in 605 BCE, his birth dates to the late 7th century BCE during the reign of King Josiah of Judah.

Royal Descent in Judah

Daniel was of royal or noble blood. The biblical account in Daniel 1:3–4 explicitly records King Nebuchadnezzar commanding his chief official to select youths "of the royal family and of the nobility" who were without blemish, handsome, and educated.

Jewish tradition—including the Babylonian Talmud (Sanhedrin 93b) and the ancient historian Flavius Josephus (Antiquities of the Jews 10.10.1)—specifically identifies Daniel as a prince of the royal house of David, traditionally held to be a descendant of King Hezekiah, fulfilling the prophetic warning given in 2 Kings 20:17–18.

Kings Daniel Served

Daniel served as a high-ranking statesman, sage, and administrator across two successive world empires:

  • Nebuchadnezzar II (Neo-Babylonian Empire): Daniel interpreted the king's forgotten dream of the great statue (Daniel 2) and his dream of the fallen tree (Daniel 4). Nebuchadnezzar appointed him ruler over the province of Babylon and chief prefect over all the wise men.

  • Belshazzar (Neo-Babylonian Coregent): On the night Babylon fell, Daniel was summoned to read and interpret the divine handwriting on the wall (Mene, Mene, Tekel, Upharsin). Belshazzar elevated him to the third-highest ruler in the kingdom (Daniel 5).

  • Darius the Mede (Medo-Persian Empire): Following the conquest of Babylon, Darius appointed Daniel as one of three senior administrators overseeing the 120 satraps of the realm. Out of jealousy, rivals had Daniel cast into the lions' den, from which he was delivered (Daniel 6).

  • Cyrus the Great (Achaemenid Persian Empire): Daniel prospered during the early reign of Cyrus II (Daniel 1:21, 6:28), with his final recorded visions occurring in the third year of Cyrus (c. 536–535 BCE, Daniel 10:1).

Daniel was among the first wave of captives deported to Babylon in 605 BCE following Nebuchadnezzar’s victory over Egyptian-allied forces at the Battle of Carchemish (the third year of King Jehoiakim). He lived in exile for over 70 years, surviving the entire duration of the Neo-Babylonian Empire and living well into his eighties under Medo-Persian rule.

He did not return to Jerusalem when Cyrus issued the decree of return in 538 BCE. Traditional sites claiming his burial place reflect this diaspora footprint—most notably the Tomb of Daniel in Shush (ancient Susa), Iran, with secondary local traditions in Kirkuk, Iraq, and Samarkand, Uzbekistan.
 

 Yet Daniel's final vision granted to him looked past the temporal kingdom's of Babylon, Persia, Greece, and Rome, For the God of Heaven enabled him to see far, far into the future; directly into the climax of human history.

"And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed:"...

Part I: The Stage is Set (Daniel 12:1–4)




"And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

 

And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

 

And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.



But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased." 

These opening verses transport us directly to the horizon of the end of the age. Michael the Archangel, our designated heavenly guardian over Israel, arises to take his stand as the cosmic battlefield shifts into high gear. What follows is an era of unprecedented crisis—the Great Tribulation—a period of affliction surpassing every catastrophe in ancient or modern history.

Yet in the middle of this storm, divine intervention breaks through. Deliverance comes to all twelve tribes of Israel who turn to their Redeemer, alongside all saints whose names are recorded in the Lamb’s Book of Life. 

Those who refused allegiance to the Beast system, defying the Man of Sin and rejecting his mark at the cost of their mortal lives, discover that death was merely a doorway. They awaken from the dust into radiant, everlasting life. Their sorrow transforms into triumph as they enter the presence of Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus the Messiah), the ultimate Passover Lamb slain for the sins of the world.

Conversely, those who pursued temporary power, deceitful wealth, and fleeting carnal pleasure at the expense of righteousness awaken to eternal shame and absolute contempt before the Ancient of Days. Those who stood firm in divine wisdom, teaching truth and guiding many to righteousness, are transfigured into everlasting light—blazing across eternity like stars in the celestial expanse.

Daniel was instructed to seal the scroll because its contents were reserved for the distant "time of the end." Today, the conditions described in verse 4 have arrived: modern commercial aviation moves humanity across continents in hours, while the sudden explosion of high-speed data networks and Artificial Intelligence accelerates human knowledge at an exponential rate. The seal is breaking open before our eyes.

  Surely "Vast Vision Must Improve our Sight" as we can now observe Planet Earth, our world from beyond our own Solar System. We now find ourselves living in a time as Da Ancient Hebrew Prophet Daniel once foresaw in his visions of unprecedented global air travel, with passengers and flight crews flying "to and fro" with Geo-orbital Communication Satellites enabling people all across our planet to "Face Time" instantaneously. 

While advances in AI and Robotics is expanding the knowledge base of human knowledge exponentially with each passing day, month, and year. Yet we Noah find ourselves living in a time of "Wars, and Rumors of Wars"  (Matthew 25, Luke 21) and even abominations such as "Transhumanism" as mankind's time of rulership is winding down relentlessly on the Universal Time Clock. 

 So Just Who is not the current invisible "Prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience" on Plan Net Earth...

"Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river. 

"And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?"


One angel addresses a preeminent figure clothed in priestly linen who hovers above the waters—a manifestation often understood as a pre-incarnate appearance of the Messiah or His supreme heavenly representative. The angel voices the burning question of all creation: How long will this final drama of tribulation and wonder endure before history reaches its consummation?




"And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished."


Raising both hands to heaven in an absolute oath sworn by the eternal God, the figure delivers the divine timeline: "a time, times, and an half"—three and a half prophetic years (1,260 days, or 42 months). This period marks the final, intense half of the seventieth week of Daniel. 

Divine justice permits the worldly apparatus to break the outward earthly strength and self-reliance of the holy people, bringing Israel to total reliance upon their true Messiah. Only when human pride and secular self-sufficiency are shattered will the age conclude.



"And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?"

"And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end."

Even Daniel, gifted in dreams and deep mysteries, cannot fathom the mechanical reality or ultimate outcome of these events. His earnest question reflects human limitation: he heard the literal calendar counts, but could not envision how these sweeping judgments and restorations would realistically unfold.



 "Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand."


The messenger gently dismisses Daniel’s desire for immediate understanding. The details were deliberately veiled from the prophet's contemporary generation. The full meaning of these apocalyptic milestones would remain obscure until the generation actually living through the end times, when current events and prophetic texts converge.


The final era serves as a spiritual crucible. The fires of persecution and testing cleanse the faithful, refining their character into holiness and devotion. In contrast, the wicked remain entrenched in rebellion; spiritually blinded by deception, they cannot perceive the prophetic significance of the world crashing down around them. Genuine spiritual discernment belongs exclusively to those rooted in the wisdom and truth of God.

  


"And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days." 

 


"Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days. But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days."


The angel establishes a precise prophetic milestone: from the moment the revived sacrificial system in Jerusalem is suppressed and the "abomination of desolation" is instituted, 1,290 days will elapse. 

This extends 30 days beyond the standard 1,260-day period (three and a half years), providing an interval likely allocated for the immediate judgment of the nations, the cleansing of the sanctuary, and the formal overthrow of the Beast’s operational apparatus upon Messiah’s descent. 


An additional 45 days are added to the count, totaling 1,335 days. A unique beatitude is pronounced over those who persevere through this final threshold. This window represents the formal transition into full restoration—the establishment of the Messianic Millennial Kingdom, where survivor nations are organized, the government of righteousness is installed, and uninterrupted peace blankets the earth.



"But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days."


The vision concludes with an extended period of restful peace in the grave for God's faithful prophet. Daniel is instructed to walk out the rest of his natural life knowing his earthly work is finished. He would "rest" in death, sleeping in the dust of Mesopotamia, secure in the covenant guarantee that at the climax of the age, he will be resurrected in his glorified body to claim his assigned inheritance ("thy lot") in the everlasting Kingdom of God.
